The Post Prominence Module allows you to control whether an article should appear in one of several featured locations throughout the website.
Our system allows articles to be featured in a variety of locations, depending on selections made in the Post Prominence module, on the Edit Post page.
By default, the system selects the most recent featured content to display in the featured locations.
These locations are detailed below:
Homepage Top Story & Homepage Featured

Articles featured on the homepage appear in this area.
These are the most high-profile locations on the website’s home page. The Homepage Top Story appears with the largest photo. Several Homepage Featured articles appear alongside.
It’s important that this content has a Featured Image attached to each article.
Featured in Category

Articles that are selected as Featured in Category appear atop the category page, arranged by publish date.
There are five Featured in Category article locations at the top of each category page. Articles are arranged by publish date.
Footer Featured Widget

The Footer Featured Widget appears at the bottom of each page of the website.
