A recent false alarm of a gunman at Michigan State has many people concerned about their safety, and what to do in the event of a future threat. Ticket scalping may be decriminalized in the State of Michigan, allowing more people to legally sell tickets above face value. And, the Spartans are on a winning streak, having made it past the first round of the NCAA tournament, after recently winning the Big 10 Tournament.

A new bill proposed may give unpaid interns in Michigan the same protections as other paid employees. MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon gave her annual State of the University address, giving some students reason to speak out against the administration. And, a suspect has been arrested in connection to the death of MSU student Dominique Nolff. New machine helps pick apples faster, safer

It is a crisp fall morning and the birds are chirping as you grab your coat, a wooden basket and a small ladder and head to the apple orchard. Light greens, yellows and reds pop out from under the dark green leaves of the apple trees as you spot the perfect apple to add to your basket. It is a popular fall activity.  But it’s also work for commercial growers.  And a new

apple-picking creation could make it a bit easier as orchard owners struggle with a declining workforce. Apple picking usually requires fruit-pickers to stand on ladders to gather the apples. Handpicking is the most consistent and traditional way to gather apples.
