Mich. State Senator Proposes “No-Carry” Repeal

With a new proposal from State Senator Mike Green of Mayville, we could see–or not see–concealed guns carried in stadiums, arenas, and schools soon. Concealed carry is now legal in Michigan with a permit, but there are a handful of places that you cannot carry a concealed gun. If the proposal is passed, it would eliminate all “no-carry” zones, meaning you could lawfully carry a concealed gun anywhere in Michigan. State senator Mike Green says the current “No-carry” law violates citizen’s constitutional rights. The bill has been sent to the senate’s judiciary committee and hearings on the bill will follow.
