And, gluten-free diets are becoming increasingly popular, even for those without celiac disease.

Bill legalizing ticket scalping splits fans, brokers, and venues at MSU

The average sports and entertainment fan would be able to sell a few unused tickets under a bill in the Michigan senate legalizing the resale of tickets above face value. Season ticket holders at Michigan State University are pleased a repeal of the 1931 law banning ticket sales is finally moving forward. However, representatives of venues, stadiums, and arenas at MSU are attempting to stop the bill from becoming signed into law.

A recent false alarm of a gunman at Michigan State has many people concerned about their safety, and what to do in the event of a future threat. Ticket scalping may be decriminalized in the State of Michigan, allowing more people to legally sell tickets above face value. And, the Spartans are on a winning streak, having made it past the first round of the NCAA tournament, after recently winning the Big 10 Tournament.

A new bill proposed may give unpaid interns in Michigan the same protections as other paid employees. MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon gave her annual State of the University address, giving some students reason to speak out against the administration. And, a suspect has been arrested in connection to the death of MSU student Dominique Nolff. Tightened security, excitement, protests as Obama arrives on MSU campus

Keeping up with the buzz from outside as President Barack Obama comes to the campus of Michigan State University to sign the farm bill. Supporters and detractors of the President showed up in full force, while other folks braved the bitter cold temperatures to simply get a glimpse of the Commander-in-chief’s motorcade. Much of the focus was on the Farm Bill 2014, yet the President’s arrival also stirred up discussion of the Affordable Health Care Act, budget deficit, and unemployment.
