The Leonids meteor shower is coming up this weekend, with spectators able to watch shooting stars sparkle on the night of Nov. 17. The shower will be in its peak the morning of Nov. 18 as the earth rotates into the sunrise. Viewers can expect to see meteors at a rate of 15 per hour.
Halloween is known for many things: costumes, candy and, this year, dog treats. Preuss Pets hosted their annual dog trick-or-treating event on Oct. 27, which was the first time the event has been held since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
LANSING, Mich.—Timothy Hillock is one of the many people that suffered damages to his home after the severe tornadoes that occurred across the state on Aug. 24–26. A tree was blown over during the storm and fell on Hillock’s roof, destroying his home. On Sept. 19, FEMA and the Michigan State Police assessed the damages following the tornadoes.
