EAST LANSING – In December 2021, President Samuel Stanley announced that the university will be adding COVID booster shots to their vaccination requirement.
The deadline for students, staff, and faculty to receive their booster and submit their verification form is February 1. “The vast majority of those in the MSU community are eligible for boosters and should make an appointment now,” Stanley said in the email.
Those not eligible for a booster will have 14 days after eligibility to comply with the requirement. The vaccination verification form will accept booster shots on January 26, with reminders nearing this date. Those who do not submit their booster verifications by February 1 will be subject to disciplinary action.
Students who have religious, online-only, or medical exemptions will continue to be exempt from the booster requirement.
