It came to her in the middle of the night … she knew she had to start a business.
What started as a fundraiser for a child with cancer is now a storefront located in downtown Dewitt.
“It blows my mind even today still of how far we’ve come in 10 months,” said Skerratt.
Nicolette Skerratt opened Twisted Craft Cocktails a little over a month ago. The focus? Infused cocktails. Just add your favorite liquor and refrigerate for at least three days.
Her husband, Jeff, has been completely supportive throughout the entire process … especially as the official taste tester.
The business continues to expand with the support of the Dewitt community and those who spread the word. The jars can now be found in 43 different stores across Michigan, Georgia, and Wisconsin.
“It’s crazy. The majority of what we’ve created has been people telling their friends, telling their family,” said Skerratt.
