Amber McDonald is a senior in the School of Journalism at Michigan State University. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and a specialization in digital humanities. Amber has been actively involved in many on-campus organizations, the most recent being Voice Magazine where she serves as Editor-in-Chief.
Along with campus and community involvement, Amber has interned with WLAJ in Lansing. Her skills include writing, reporting, and editing (using Avid and Final Cut Pro). Her long-term goal is to become a multimedia reporter who also has experience in web and publication design as well as web authoring. This is her first year doing Focal Point.
