Back in 2009, Drew Barrymore brought the world of Female Roller Derby to the big screen with her directorial debut in the film “Whip It.” Now the sport is gaining momentum, and teams are popping up right here in Lansing. I had the opportunity to catch up with the ladies of the Lansing Derby Vixens to check out their practice, learn a little about the sport, and even practice my skating skills!
