Horrible Fall!

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to cover the intense sport of Female Roller Derby. Leagues are popping up around the city of Lansing, and the Lansing Derby Vixens invited me into one of their practices to learn the sport and even strap on a pair of skates myself. To say the least I was not so graceful in the skates as I thought I would be, and definitely ate some concrete when I tried to get on my feet.
