The 2010 U.S. Census forms are due by April 1. College students are to fill out their forms for the town in which they go to school- where they live a majority of the year and where they’ll be living on April 1. MSU students should fill out their forms for their East Lansing residence, not their home towns.
Failure to fill out your census form can result in enumerators knocking at your door up to six times and eventually, a $5,000 fine. Census officials say the form is quick and easy.
