“Wanted a few black people who support the Republican Party, I like everything we stand for. The economics, I was just thinking about where the country is at, not knocking Obama, but I think the Trump administration is great and I wanted to just come and show my support.”

“It was a recharge for me to get my people to go vote for the Republicans. I look at the economy; I look at my stocks, I look at my retirement, everything is great. I look at what was going on before the Trump administration got there with the borders as well as the trade. Being from Detroit and seeing how the unfair trade decimated America, and to see factories coming back, to see the economy strong, to see our borders are more secure.”

“Trump said he wanted to ‘Make America Great Again,’ and I say it’s great in Michigan. So I believe in him, he’s been doing what he said he was going to do, and it’s great to see, and it’s great to see a good, enthusiastic crowd like this. I know he has a lot of them, so wanted to check it out”

“One thing that Pence started talking about is revitalizing the American spirit, and we’re only getting things going. Personally I think it’s great that we’re having this new surge of energy come back into our country, even in our own state of Michigan.”
