Every year around springtime, Mason’s Steele Street Elementary School puts on an art show for students, teachers and parents to enjoy.
This year’s show is March 13-17. Many parents got to see the decorated elementary school when they visited for spring conferences. Art teacher Marty Frew has been teaching at the school for eight years.
Frew said her favorite part about the art show is the reactions of parents and students reactions. She said, “My room is more downstairs in the basement, so not a lot of students throughout the school get to see the artwork that kids in my class have done throughout the year.”
Frew said she loves how excited the students are to see their artwork finally hung up and displayed.
