Michigan State University's NAACP and East Black Caucus gathered students in Wells Hall on November 8, 2016 to witness the proceeding election of the 45th President of the United States.

"We do need to be more involved in politics and there are a lot of misrepresentation, or under representation rather, blacks in the politics process and we need to definitely change and we have to give people the awareness of that," said Dionta Brown, President of MSU NAACP.
