State Rep. Andy Schor, who has served for two terms in the state House, faces Republican Randy Pilon and Libertarian Robert Powell in the race for the 68th District, which includes much of the city of Lansing.
With 74 percent of precincts reporting, Schor leads Pilon, 73 percent to 22 percent. Powell has 6 percent.
Before serving at the House, Schor served for 10 years as an Ingham County commissioner.
Pilon most recently was digital and communications manager for the Michigan House Republicans. His website also says he served as a proofreader for MIRS News and as an intern at the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
