ASMSU offers $35,000 to bring in candidates, State News reports

The Associated Students at Michigan State University (ASMSU) reports it has proposed a bill to university officials to spend as much as $35,000 to have one or more presidential candidate come speak on campus, according to The State News. ASMSU is waiting for approval from MSU before announcing which candidates it is attempting to bring to campus, according to The State News.

The candidates are campaigning now for Super Tuesday primaries on March 1 and will then have a primary in Michigan on March 8.
