Ash Street in downtown Mason should take on a whole different look by July when the city celebrates its 159th annual fair. The fair is said to play an important role not just for the Mason community but for the county as a whole <Listen to the story>
Long-time Mason resident, Joanne Hoekzema, says she looks forward to this community fair because of the huge amount of diversity brought into the town from Lansing to Stockbridge.
The annual fair lasts one month. To prepare, the fair board ensures the facilities are adequate for hosting horse shows, flea markets, craft shows, and other attractions.
