Michigan-based Joe Hertler and his band, The Rainbow Seekers, are celebrating springtime at Mac’s Bar on Saturday, April 7. Supporting acts include Valentiger, Alco, Redbird, Red Pill, Skinny Black and Sloan Kettering, Parent The Seas, Aaron Stinson and Robert Perry.
Hertler’s music lies on the fringe of pop and folk rock, combing light and animated instrumentals with energetic vocals. With an eclectic array of instruments ranging from a vox guitar to bells and a harmonica, Joe Hertler and the Rainbow Seekers are offering a unique sound to the world of indie-folk music.
Over the past year, the band has been gaining attention all over Michigan through the power of its charismatic prowess and danceable beats. Their recent album, “On Being” (Bigger Bush Media), has received critical acclaim from various outlets statewide, including Revue and All Around Sound.
