Laina is a journalism student at Michigan State University with a concentration in editorial reporting. In addition to covering state news as a Capital News Service correspondent, she also serves as the president and co-editor of The Tab Michigan State. Laina is fascinated with politics, public affairs, and watchdog journalism. She ultimately hopes to use her journalistic endeavors to educate, shed light on injustices and corruption, hold the powerful accountable, and advocate for positive change. Laura is a journalism major at Michigan State University with a concentration in media marketing. In addition to reporting for Capital News Service, Laura is a newsroom intern at The State News and serves as a campus tour guide for Michigan State University’s Office of Outreach. She has a strong interest in covering issues such as safety and education and enjoys covering policy as well. Isaac is a junior at Michigan State University pursuing a dual degree in journalism and political science. In addition to writing for Capital News Service, he has also reported for WKAR, HOMTV, Red Cedar Log and the State News. Isaac began in journalism with hopes of covering sports, but he developed a passion for the larger trade and now loves seeing how community stories unfold.
