The East Lansing Public Art Gallery will feature the artwork of Williamston native Cindy Evans, entitled “Welcome to the Zoo” on March 3. The exhibit is open to the public during regular hours (6 a.m. – 8 p.m. on weekdays, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday and noon – 6 p.m. on Sunday) and is located on the second floor of the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road. Admission is free. Yvette Robinson, the East Lansing public art gallery director, said she found Evans’ work among a band of local artists and knew she would be perfect for the East Lansing Public Art Gallery. “Everyone had a booth at a local art expo,” Robinson said.
