Gun and knife show draws enthusiasts

MASON — The Gun and Knife Show was held at the Ingham County Fairgrounds in Mason on Feb. 10-12.Doug Carl, who has been the promoter of the Gun and Knife Show for 25 years, said that the show serves as a forum for antique firearm and collectors.</div>

The show has moved from the Lansing Center to the Ingham County Fairgrounds over the years, and usually draws  thousands over a weekend, he said. History that is not taught in schools can be learned at this show. Firearms from the pre-civil war period to the current can be found at the show, he said. The show attracted a diverse crowd including families and people of all ages.
