New apartments coming to Grand River

Last spring, the 7-Eleven and Georgio’s Pizza on the corner of Grand River Ave. and Bogue St. were demolished. Construction for a brand new building is now officially underway. “HUB On Campus East Lansing” is a new high rise apartment building that is expected to open by the fall of 2019.

Award-winning video game highlights top game design program

Imagine taking one’s love for playing video games and making it into a career. The Michigan State Game Development program helps students do just that. Princeton Review’s list of top Game Design programs ranks Michigan State in the Top 10 for both graduate and undergraduate students. They even get the opportunity to play video games with their professor. They do this in the Games for Entertainment and Learning Lab, nicknamed the GEL Lab.

Spartan Sports Report: Men’s Hoops Upset, Baseball Returns Home

Michigan State men’s basketball played the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament at Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit. Angel Thompson brings a report from the stunning second round upset.
