Michigan Filmmakers Unveil Car for New Movie “Jinn”

Writer-Director A.J. Ahmad and Actor Ray Park were both on hand at Detroit’s Autorama to introduce the hero car for the upcoming film Jinn. The vehicle is a joint venture beManen Michigan film company Exxodus Pictures and Novi-based designers Classic Design Concepts (who also designed the car for the new Knight Rider). Both car and movie are part of Ahmad’s vision to utilize the growing film business in Michigan to help put a spark back in the auto industry. The Firebreather is currently available for special order and 50 numbered models will be produced.

State of the State Protest

As lawmakers gathered inside the Capitol building in Lansing to hear Governor Jennifer Granholm deliver her last State of the State address, hundreds of demonstrators gathered on the Capitol lawn in protest. Despite a few minor protests, Capitol Police say the protestors remained generally peaceful and no arrests were made.
