Soldan’s Pet Supplies prides itself on customer service

With a wide variety of big box stores and local pet businesses in the area, where is the best place to go for our four-legged friends? Meg Bashore, the store manager of Soldan’s Pet Supplies believes she knows the answer. “We’ve been family owned and operated for 62 years, we just celebrated [62 years], we like to think that our customer service, our vast knowledge, and our community history sets us apart from our competitors,” Bashore said. Keys to company success come from the heart of the employees, providing friendly service and knowing how to handle anything that walks through their front doors according to staff. As explained by Bashore, this place is much more than just a business.

Where to go when it’s Time for Flowers

The search for the perfect bouquet for that special someone seems to finally be over with the arrival of Time for Flowers, a local flower shop that has a creative spin to their bouquets. Opening in early April, Time for Flowers’ specialty comes into play with their innovative flower bar, as Designer Theresa Pickler explained. “One of the things that makes us extremely unique is we have a build your own flower bar, customers come in a pick their flowers and greens either by hand or we will put it together for them while they watch,” Pickler  said.

With the ability to create a completely custom bouquet, picking out someone’s favorites has never been easier, an easy way to score some major “brownie points,” as assistant designer Jessica Golab said. With a sea of popular flowers to choose from, the options can almost be overwhelming.
