For almost seven years, Groovy Donuts has made the donuts at their Neighborhood shop called Groovy Donuts.
However, when Fat Tuesday comes around, they focus on one specific treat each year. Paczki.
“We definitely have people who just come for Paczki. After they have our Paczki we get new customers from it,” Groovy Donuts owner, Monica Lucas.
Owners Monica Lucas and Andrew Gauthier spend all week preparing for Fat Tuesday, with online orders reaching high numbers on the Monday before the big day.
“I think we’re around 3,000 orders right now. Maybe more,” Andrew Gauthier.
