Meat BBQ welcomes “Triple D” with a sign in the restaurant.

Meat Southern BBQ & Carnivore Cuisine will be featured on the Food Network‘s hit show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, for a second time. While the restaurant first appeared on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives back in 2017, the show decided to come back and check in with Meat BBQ to see how it is. Meat BBQ posted a photo on Facebook thanking the community of Lansing for the love and support.

“They came back! … We had a film crew in here checking back in on us, seeing how we have been the last few years. Look for the Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives episode of Meat BBQ 2.0 in early 2022! Thank you, Lansing, for the constant support and love!”

To be featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, the production team at the Food Network has to receive referrals from several sources. People can also submit ideas to the show directly, which prompts producers to do extensive research. Stefani Kozlowski, an Adrian resident, is happy that Meat BBQ will be receiving a publicity boost by being back on Triple D.

“I am glad they came back for a second visit! My family loves that restaurant and frequently drives there from Adrian to only have dinner. Their BBQ is the best out there, and I refuse to eat ribs anywhere else after having theirs,” said Kozlowski.

Bartender Brett Peeper said that although he was not there during filming day, it was very humbling and cool to have them come in.

“It’s a community-driven thing. The community has to reach out to Triple D to have them even come. It was a real positive experience. The show will air around January,” Peeper said.
