MSU sophomore says quarantine experience was awful

Sophomore and journalism student Madison Rose was recently quarantined in South Hubbard Hall after catching COVID-19 a few weeks ago.

Rose was there for one week and wrote about her experience for The State News. Rose was not able to get medical attention and was given an unclean dorm to stay in.

Madison said her health is better now but she still wants MSU to make changes to its quarantine protocols. “There were times I wanted to break out of there, like one night I was going to walk home, it was awful,” Rose said.
