Shiawassee County is recovering from a devastating tornado that touched down March 14th.
The National Weather Service reported two tornadoes passed through the area between 6:47 and 6:45 p.m., traveling northeast of speeds up to 110 miles per hour.
Duane Zook, a Michigan State Police Trooper said police and officials have been out checking on residents of the area and offering help to those in need.
“It’s going to be a slow process, as far as getting everything cleaned up and the power back on,” said Zook.
