On April 21, the dogs took over the Lyon Oaks Dog Park in Wixom, Michigan.
Corgis are a small herding dog that originated in Wales. The breed has been growing in popularity recently. The Michigan Corgi Club Facebook group has more than 2,000 members.
The April Corgi meetup was organized by Katelyn Sakkinen, a Michigan State University alumna who now studies at Eastern Michigan University. She said he is “just one of the Corgi lovers.”
