East Lansing — Meet Cam Holding, head coach for MSU’s club lacrosse team.

Who is giving back to the game he loves by coaching Michigan State, yet Holding is still living his own dream playing professional lacrosse.

Holding was drafted in 2011 National Lacrosse League Draft and helped team Canada to a gold medal in the 2014 World Championships.

“That was my favorite moment,” Cam Holding said. “Winning gold and wearing team Canada on my chest.”

Now, Holding has Michigan State chasing their own championship.

“It’s huge to have a professional lacrosse player as your coach,” junior defensive midfielder Sam Robbins said. “He’s been in our shoes, and when we see something he does in a game we ask him to teach us a little more about that.Screen Shot 2017-02-28 at 11.58.02 AM
