Democrats were on track to win all races in Meridian Township, with Julie Brixie elected township treasurer, Ronald Styka elected supervisor and four Democratic candidates winning seats on the township’s Board of Trustees: Phil Deschaine, Patricia Herring Jackson, Dan Opsommer and Kathy Ann Sundland.
Brixie, who was re-elected for her third term as treasurer, said her dedication to the Democratic Party was key in her landslide win.
