Sanders sweeps Washington, Alaska, Hawaii
Bernie Sanders dominated all three of Saturday’s Democratic caucus states in his quest to be the Democratic presidential nominee. He had a good week, having earlier won Idaho and Utah. Despite gaining in the delegate count, he is still a long second to Hillary Clinton. She won Arizona on Tuesday. Delegate totals were shared in all six Western states.
For the week, Sanders piled up more than 70 percent of the popular vote in Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho and Utah. There were no Republican primaries or caucuses on Saturday.
