How long have you worked in Mason and what brought you here?

I’ve worked here for about 3 ½ years. The head librarian before me left and so the job opened up so I asked to transfer over to Mason.

What drew you to working here?

The job for head librarian was open and I was interested in the position.

Overall how would you describe Mason as a community?

Mason is really warm and friendly. It seems like everyone really cares about each other. The people really support the local businesses.

What is your favorite part or thing about Mason?

Of course I love the historic library. It’s about 77 years old now. I also love the town square how there are a lot of active businesses.

 What are a few events that you look forward to in Mason every year?

The library participates in spring fling and downtown days, which are around the courthouse square, and it’s community wide.
