Jackson National Insurance has a planned $100 million expansion that will soon help the economy of Lansing. Jackson currently has more than 2,500 associates at its Lansing headquarters and their expansion will accommodate more than 1,000 associates.

“It’s extremely difficult to comment on the average pay for associates, as salaries vary greatly based on level, role/department and location,” said Courtney Sipperley, Corporate Social Responsibility and External Communications Specialist. “Potential candidates can come from anywhere in the country and we recruit at college campuses in several different states. The living accommodations for candidates will be determined on a case-by-case basis,” said Sipperley.

“The qualifications depend on the role candidates are applying for — more information can be found in the Careers section on our website. We moved our headquarters to Lansing in the 1970s, I would imagine for many reasons, including the vibrant community, proximity to Michigan State University, talent pool and the fact that Lansing is the capital city,” said Sipperley.
