Last month Michigan State University received a false alarm of a possible gunman on campus, and triggered students and faculty to question whether the campus was ready for a violent attacker situation. Even with the MSU Department of Public Safety guidelines on their website, and the text alerts sent to all students and faculty, many feel as though this topic needs to be taken more seriously.
