Forty percent of all Michigan residents are boaters and the Lansing Boat Show is at the Lansing Center for its 18th year.
There are over 300 boats on display at the Lansing Center Thursday through Saturday, March 27-29.
“The Lansing Boat Show is more than just boats. We have scuba diving and kayaking displays, a trout pond where kids can fish, and lifts and docks,” said, Lansing Boat Show event coordinator Ernie Hedberg.
Ten Michigan boat dealers will be at the Lansing Center representing 50 different boat manufacturers.
“Last year I ran my boat into the dock, managed to sink it. So, I’m out here to buy a new boat for a decent price,” said Doug Warren, 43.
Once inside the showroom, visitors—including children—are encouraged to climb aboard the boats. The 74,000-square foot room will house boats ranging from $10,000 to $120,000.
