Lansing hopes to forge ahead on casino project

Lansing is hoping it can forge ahead with its 245-million dollar casino project despite a federal judge’s order blocking the project until certain conditions are met. Federal Judge Robert Jonker says the City of Lansing and the Sault St. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians must show proof of financing the project as one of two conditions for allowing work on the project to resume.
