The Michigan State University College of Music has reason to celebrate thanks to a $1 million dollar donation from the MSU Federal Credit Union.
This donation will go toward the Jazz studies program with intentions to bring in guest artists for one week to mentor and perform with students.
Director of Jazz Studies, Rodney Whitaker says he’s still reacting to the donation and just cannot believe it.
The Dean of the College of Music, James Forger believes this in residence program will help music to continue to touch the lives of everyone.
