Located at 2021 E Michigan Ave. is Gone Wired Café, a cozy place to study, read a book or grab a bite to eat. The menu consists of worldly foods and caffeinated beverages all at an affordable price.
Various street artists have painted its walls in a multitude of colors giving the interior a cheery and colorful feeling. The walls are also covered in local artists paintings and photographs, which can be purchased by customers.
Lansing resident and frequent Gone Wired Café visitor Jessica Whitmill said she loves the atmosphere of the place.
“There is nothing better than going to Gone Wired when I know I have a lot of schoolwork to do,” Whitmill said. “I always manage to get it all done there, I just can’t get enough of the place.”
The café is open Monday-Thursday 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Gone Wired Café customers sit upstairs on the second floor of the café. The owner Collen Davis likes to keep the customers busy by offering an assortment of board games and books.
