“Last year we took care about 5,000 children in the Lansing area. This year’s goal is about 4,000. And that would be more to do it.This newspaper raises $140,000 to $150,000 from people in the community to support this effort and it’s really important. We are always happy to provide this paper because people like it and help children”, Mickey Hirten, LSJ Executive editor said.
