Grovenburg United Methodist Church will host its St. Patty’s Day bake sale and dinner on Saturday, March 12 from 5p.m. to 7p.m.
As with the holiday’s food tradition, Grovenburg will be serving up its famous tender corned beef and cabbage, complete with carrots, potatoes, and onions, dinner rolls, beverages and dessert. All of this can be purchased for $8 per person for individuals aged twelve and older. Children ages five to eleven may eat for $4 and children under five may eat for free. There will be a variety of baked goods available for purchase also.
All of the proceeds from the dinner and bake sale will go toward the purchase of a tiller for the church’s Food Bank Garden.
The event is open to the public, and dinner will be served in the church’s Fellowship Hall. The church is located at 1368 Grovenburg Rd. in Holt, MI. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door. If you would like more information on this event, you can contact Loretta S. Stanaway at 517-648-5730.
