The Lansing Roller Derby Vixen’s took on the Floral City Roller Girls in their first, sold-out, home bout on February 12.  However, their first official home game, dubbed the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, was not only a sporting event. The event boasted a live performance by the local band Shelby Twist and the Fetal Fairies and music by DJ Rachael P.

The Lansing Derby Vixens are not only dedicated to entertaining their fans, they also are committed to giving back to their local community.
“We love the community, we want to be a part of it, and so we like to give back and be involved,” Ludacrush, a skater for the Vixens, said.
The Lansing Derby Vixen’s next home bout is scheduled for May 7 against the Traverse City Toxic Cherries at the Lansing Center.
