March 8th was Fat Tuesday and I went to Roma Bakery to check out Packzi Day.
The bakery was full of people buying the delicious treats.
Roma Bakery has been open for 42 years and treats all their customers like family. Mena, the store owner says their packzi take an Italian spin on the Polish classic, making a ricotta packzi along with the other classic flavors.
Packzi day is traditionally used to celebrate the last day before the lenten season starts on Ash Wednesday.
