Michigan Climate Change Initiative

Michigan State University and The University of Michigan are joining forces to study and improve climate variability and change on the Great Lakes. The universities received a $4.2 million dollar grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to support the new Great Lakes Regional Integrated Sciences and Assessments Center. The project will bring together the state’s top researches to help better understand climate change surrounding the Great Lakes.
