Live music, enormous amounts of food and plenty of shopping — all found in one place: Old Town Lansing. For two days the historic Lansing district hosted the Old Town BluesFest which has been an annual event since 1994.

“I think this festival is a great event for Old Town. It really builds a great sense of community and really brings people out,” said Katie Kiter of the festival planning committee.

The streets were packed with people, the smell of barbecue and the sound of soulful blues. Headliners included Larry McCray, The Rusty Right Band and Frog & the Lansing All-Stars.
