Kelli Ellison is a senior in the School of Journalism at Michigan State University and is set to graduate in December of 2010. After transferring from Jackson Community College in 2008, Kelli realized she had made the best decision of her life and has loved every minute as a Spartan.

Kelli was born and raised in Napoleon, Michigan (a small town outside of Jackson, Michigan). Ever since she was a young girl, she’s known that the small town lifestyle is not for her. Although it helped her develop her love of sports, writing, current events… and knowing everyone’s business, she knew there was something more. Her passion for journalism helps utilize all of her unique traits and allows her to practice something that she truly enjoys.

Currently, Kelli is a sports intern for WILX-Channel 10 in Lansing, Michigan. She also works for MSU Sports Broadcasting where she shoots footage for Spartan Basketball and Baseball. Kelli also interned for WLAJ-ABC 3 in the winter of 2009.

In addition to journalism, Kelli enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends and family and being outside (when it’s actually nice.) After graduation, she hopes to pursue a job in entertainment or sports broadcasting. Kelli’s dream job would be as a sideline reporter for ESPN or to host her own talk show on the E! network.

Kelli enjoys meeting new people and sharing her experiences, so feel free to follow her on Twitter!
