For some, every day alive is another miracle. The same is true for our pets.
Michigan State University held it’s 7th annual Celebration of Life on March 20th. It was a gathering of former MSU vet hospital patients, who defied the medical odds and survived, as MSU’s medical miracles. 50 dogs, cats and even horses were honored as survivors at the celebration as their owners had their inspirational stories shared with the audience.
Even recently deceased pets were honored; animals who survived far longer than ever anticipated, beating everyone’s expectations including their doctor’s. It was an event high on emotions and feel-good stories.
I was very excited to be able to shoot this story, what a fun day!
