We have another Focal Point taping tonight. Our goal every show is to tape as if we are producing it live, and we have been getting better and better with every show. Hopefully tonight isn’t any different.
I’m anchoring the sports segment tonight, and I am really excited to get some experience in front of the chroma wall (blue screen). We have stories about MSU men’s and women’s basketball, watch parties and MSU Wrestling. It is an exciting time for MSU Basketball with March Madness in full swing. Unfortunately the women ended their run Monday night against Kentucky in the second round, but the men advanced to the Sweet 16 and I’m excited to cheer them on Friday night.
I am not producing a package for this show because I am anchoring, but I am working on a couple short stories. Look for a story about the Shamrock 5K that took place on campus Saturday (snow included!) and “One Night of Queen”, a show that came to the Wharton Center Monday night.
I will start creating a package next week for our upcoming show, and I will post it here soon. Until then, take care.
