The Senate passed a bill to ban text messaging behind the wheel. The bill now must be passed at the House before reaching the Governor’s desk to be enacted as a law. Police say text messaging behind the wheel is as dangerous as drunk driving, yet many still do it. If it becomes a law, it may make text messagers think twice.
