Friday Night Tailgate Visits Michigan State University

Big Ten Network’s Friday Night Tailgate Show visited Michigan State University last week to award them with the ‘Best Campus’ award. Show hosts, Tim and Steve, wrapped up there wacky season at MSU for their finale episode after traveling around Big Ten universities. They hung out with Sparty, spent some time with a Holden Hall student mentor and presented the Tailgate Award at the men’s basketball game.

Focal Point is the name of a student-produced newscast at Michigan State University. We record newscasts 12 times per school year at the studios in the Communication Arts and Sciences Building. The purpose of the newscast is to not only provide news and information to the MSU community, but to give students the opportunity to learn about broadcasting in all forms: reporting; shooting and editing video; writing.

The Michigan Waterway Stewards and Delta Sigma Phi fraternity after their day cleaning up the Red Cedar River. On March 28, the Michigan Waterways Stewards and East Lansing Rotary Club partnered with Michigan State’s Delta Sigma Phi to host a Red Cedar River cleanup day.
